This photograph is entitled "Pocket Litter." That was the term we used way back when to describe the stuff we found in pockets of those we arrested or detained in our duties in law enforcement or counterintelligence agentry. Though what I really did could only be described as Law Enforcement Lite, as I was in charge of the physical security of Naval Base, Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines, and not actually busting perps directly. Edit: Usually. That was a wandering intro to the picture, neh?...

The LAPD still has the willies over black guys. Early this morning in LA, Diddy and his huge entourage were in a big motorcade and one of the cars got pulled over by cops for not having the proper tags. The driver had to be detained because he popped off to the cops. Diddy and the rest of his crew-run-run rolled up to see what the issue was and one of the police officers drew his weapon. DAMN. Anyway, it all blew over. The driver was released and there wasn't even a ticket issued. Though,...
We thought Olympics will allow some liberties in China ( yes, I know different countries have different laws). One of the values we teach our kids in school here or there, is the value of their own culture and of course the immense value of freedom. When Ingrid Betancourt was set free by Colombian government, one of our friends told us, you cannot value freedom until you've lost it. And certainly is it. While mayor blogs discuss who's leading the coverage of Olympics in the US, there are people...

So as a result, I have been very critical of these folk who are running to be this nations commander in chief. Now don?t expect...

I would want to write not about what strikes my fancy but rather my gut feelings, as we wonder about... 1. First the case just reported of a man who got caught while trying to use cloned credit/debit cards in his possession. He was caught while attempting to get money from ATMs, detained and surrendered to the Judicial authorities, or Ministerio Publico. Then, what happend defies my most vivid imagination : he was set free without charges on account of the fact that , as the report goes,he did not...

Approved in this medieval French border city, which is home to a significant population of North Africans and Turks, the legislation establishes common rules for expelling foreigners who are detained on...
